MANILA, Philippines — Pagpapalaya sa minamahal ang ikinuwento ng dating Tawag ng Tanghalan contestant na si Keisha Paulo sa kanyang debut single na Hanggang Ngayon Na Lang.

Ang awitin na inilabas sa ilalim ng ABS-CBN record label na Star Music ay tungkol sa malungkot na pagtatapos ng isang relasyon. Isinulat at iprinodyus ni Thyro Alfaro ang kanta na nagbibida sa makulay at malawak na boses ni Keisha.

“It’s about a person who is struggling to let go of someone they love. I think that is relatable to many, I myself also experience that kind of heartache. I’m very thankful to Thyro that he chose me to interpret this song,” saad niya sa naganap na single launch.

Bukod dito, nakatakda rin ilunsad ni Keisha ang kanyang unang album ngayong taon na iikot sa mensahe ng pag-ibig at mental health.

“Most of the songs that you’re gonna hear speak about love, broken relationships, and mental health issues. It also plays around the genre of pop, soul, and R&B,” ani Keisha.

Challenging pero grateful ang baguhang singer-songwriter sa kanyang naging Tawag ng Tanghalan season 6 journey kung saan una niyang ipinamalas ang talento sa pag-awit.

“I remember the daily rounds kunwari sasalang ka na today and you’re already thinking about your performance tomorrow. It was a very hard experience but also I’m grateful that I got to do that because it made me stronger in starting my career,” kwento niya.

Available ang debut single ni Keisha na Hanggang Ngayon Na Lang sa iba’t ibang digital music streaming platforms.
