Young Creatives Challenge nilunsad ng DTI

Ilulunsad ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), sa pamamagitan ng suporta ni Senator Imee Marcos, ang sinasabing grandest battle of creativity sa pamamagitan ng Young Creatives Challenge (YC2).

Ang initiative na ito ay naghahangad na pag-ibayuhin, kilalanin, at bigyang pansin ang creative minds across diverse categories in the fields of Songwriting, Screenwriting, Playwriting, Graphic Novel, Animation, Game Development, and Online Content Creation.

Ang competition umanong ito ay meticulously crafted to pinpoint and unite exceptionally talented individuals, fostering a dynamic platform that grants them access to a myriad of opportunities for both personal and professional advancement.

Mula sa pagkakamit ng karapat-dapat na pagkilala at pagkakalantad hanggang sa paglinang ng mahahalagang network at collaborative partnership, ilan lamang umamo ito sa maraming premyp na naghihintay sa mga lalahok at magpapakita ng kakaibang husay.

Inaanyayahan ng DTI ang lahat ng natural-born Filipino na may edad 18-35, anuman ang antas ng kanilang karanasan, to participate as either individuals or teams.

Ang mga kalahok ay dapat magsumite ng  orihinal na mga likha o kanilang sariling gawa.

Malawak umano ang tema ng competition na kanilang sinadya para sa open at free subject approach upang bigyan ng creative freedom ang bawat lalahok.

Bilang pagdiriwang ng kompetisyon, magsasagawa ang DTI ng launching activity sa Setyembre 24, 2023 na magiging livestream sa pamamagitan ng DTI Philippines Facebook Page.

Magaganap sa semi-finals na magaganap sa Oktubre 2023, kung saan pararangalan ang Top 30 creator at ilalabas ang Top 10 Grand Finalists.

Ang grand finals ay sa Nobyembre 2023 kung saan ang mga grand finalist ay bibigyan ng nararapat na mga premyong cash at milyon-milyong halaga ng mga promosyon, insentibo, pagpaparehistro ng intellectual property registration, at posibleng produksyon o comercialization.

The DTI, in support to the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (RA 11904), is steadfast in its support of the advancement of creative industries and this competition is only one of the many initiatives of the government.
