Easy Listening Nestor Cuartero, personal niyang mga kuwento
The UST Publishing House (USTPH) spotlights a new release in its creative nonfiction shelves, titled Easy Listening by Nestor Cuartero, na compilation ng mga personal na kuwento ng veteran journalist at book author sa kanyang pagtalakay tungkol sa iba’t ibang paksa -- mula sa pagiging ama hanggang sa mga pagdiriwang sa mga biyaya ng kalikasan -- na pawang sinulat gamit ang karanasan bilang peryodista at malikhaing pananaw bilang manunulat.
Mababasa sa 116 na pahina ng libro ang mga kagandahan ng mga pangkaraniwang bagay sa araw-araw, palakaibigang mga kapitbahay, paglalakad-lakad sa hapon, ang matamis-maasim na mga prutas, ang kasiyahan sa pakikinig sa pagmamadali araw-araw at marami pang iba.
Ito ay panulat sa paraang tila paglalakad lamang sa masigla at pamilyar na daan pauwi sa tahanan.
Nailarawan ng acclaimed essayist at fictionist na si Cristina Pantoja Hidalgo ang ganitong kuru-kuro sa Introduction ng libro: “All in all, the book makes for a pleasant experience.
