“Kasi it’s so nice to have such a great partner, such a great woman supporting me. I support her, she supports me. It works two ways. Dapat gano’n naman talaga when it comes to partnership. And she’s a great companion to have in work and outside of work. We help each other din sa work especially sa music,” paglalahad ni KD.
“Of course, there are times and then I have to remind myself na, ‘You’re different people.’ He doesn’t act the way you do. He doesn’t think exactly the way you do. So, you have to keep in mind that you’re different people who have to compromise na lang to each other. Meet in the middle. I don’t want naman to tell him, ‘Oh, you have to change this for me.’ There’s always middle ground naman, you can meet in the middle,” pagbabahagi ni Alexa.
“Actually, sabi lang ni direk Lauren (Dyogi), they have something for us. A project he thinks we will like. And when we got it, it’s a play. They asked us to sing a bit of the songs and then we were approved,” kwento ni KD.
“Prior to that they already had us in mind. So kumbaga they presented the play to us. They were already asking if we would like to be onboard because they needed a musical pair like us. When it was presented to us, of course we were excited. Who wouldn’t be? Especially dahil nakanood po kami ng mga play in New York. So we were inspired. But also very scared. It’s totally different. So bagong adjustment, bagong pag-aaral, etc. After quite some time thinking, we said yes and no turning back. But it’s been a great decision. We’re enjoying every day that we got to learn and experience it,” nakangiting pahayag ni Alexa.
“This movie took so long to shoot. We started shooting this on Jan. 20, 2020. And first shooting day namin, sumabog ang Taal and then nag-declare ng first day ng lockdown because of covid-19. I went to London in July 2021 and we were able to resume the shooting only last year.
I’m really afraid of ghosts. So I avoid doing horror films. But this one, I like the material.
