Lucy Torres, Auxiliary Commodore na ng Philippine Coast Guard
Ang gandang Auxiliary Commodore ni Ormoc Mayor Lucy Torres.
Ito ay matapos nga siyang italaga ng Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary Executive Squadron kasabay ng 11th Founding Anniversary ng Coast Guard District – Eastern Visayas last week.
Ang nasabing ranggo ni Mayor Lucy ay kasabay ng responsibilidad niya na itaguyod ang kapayapaan sa baybayin (coast) gayundin sa lupain (land) na dati na niyang ginagawa noong siya ay congresswoman. Sinamahan ni Congressman Richard Gomez si Mayor Lucy sa nasabing event.
Samantala, may month-long celebration ang 75th Charter Day ng Ormoc.
Nag-umpisa ito na ito pagpasok ng October pero next week ang highlight ng celebration dahil magkakaroon ng coronation ang Miss Ormoc 2022, may concert ang Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, may Kapuso Celebrity All-Star Basketball vs. PBA players, may Garbo sa Ormoc Awarding Ceremony, City Jubilee Celebration with El Gamma Penumbra and the unveiling of the 75th Charted Day Celebration Commemorative Stamp and New Ormoc City Logo at sa Oct. 20 ang concert nina Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid.
