'Ipagdadasal na lang': Gary V hirap kumanta dahil sa problema sa lalamunan
MANILA, Philippines — Inamin ni “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano na kasalukuyan siyang nahihirapan kumanta dahil sa kanyang lalamunan.
Dasal ng beteranong performer na gumaling sa siya lalo pa't papalapit na ang pagbubukas ng "Joseph The Dreamer," na siyang magmamarka sa pagbabalik niya sa teatro matapos ang 23 taon.
"Lord, you know I’ve been struggling with my voice and throat for weeks now. 'Joseph The Dreamer' is in 8 days. I need your help Lord. Thank You for your faithfulness," tweet niya, Huwebes.

Gaganap bilang "Jacob" si Gary V. na siyang ama ni Joseph sa naturang musical play.
“It’s good because I’m using now a different range of my voice, which allows me to express myself in better ways and in fresh new ways, because if it’s always up there, like the way I often sing, there might not be a difference between that character and the person that you see on stage," ani Valenciano sa isang online press conference noong Hunyo 28.
Dati nang ginampanan ng singer ang titular role noong 1989. Para sa taong 2022, si Sam Concepcion naman ang gaganap bilang "Joseph" kung saan makasasama rin niyang magtanghal sina Kayla Rivera, Bituin Escalante, at Carlo Orosa.
Nakatakdang ikasa ang opening ng "Joseph the Dreamer" sa Hulyo 15 sa Maybank Performing Arts Theater, Taguig.
