"I love my Fro' - it's not just a hairstyle ; it's a statement," caption niya sa kanyang paskil, Martes.

The acknowledged or inappropriate adoption of the customs, practices, ideas, etc. of one people or society by members of another and typically more dominant people or society.

"[C]an someone from her team tell her this is cultural appropriation," koment ni @4ndrea.ma.

"Sad that some people don't understand what's wrong with this picture, even with the numerous explanations in the comment section. If you don't want to understand that this picture is not okay, we can't do anything for you anymore, sorry," sabi naman ni @aliyaisgood.

"I don’t see anything wrong with her hair. Was she even mocking dark skin? Was the picture even discriminating certain race? [D]rag queens are even wearing afro for their shows, ganun din ba tingin nyo sa kanila. Besides, prehistorically we Filipinos are naturally curly," koment niya.

Aniya, gusto lang nila iparating ang mensaheng:"Embrace our all types of hairstyles. Straight, wavy, short, curly, long, afro or not."

"We apologize for those who got offended. But rest assured, we don’t violate any laws, discriminate any race or any minorities. That’s not the intention," dagdag ni Tolentino.

Ganito rin ang naging komento ni @thevienity na sinabing: "A lot are pissed but isn't this the reason why they're there? Diversity and inclusion. That they don't just represent a particular place but to represent humanity as a whole?"

"Hope she gets more than the slash. She deserves better!" saad pa niya.

Pilipinas International, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental, Bb. Pilipinas Globe at Bb. Pilipinas Grand International. — Philstar.com intern Vivienne Audrey Angeles
