Chika ni Lorin, kahit nasa showbiz na siya tuloy ang studies niya na matagal na niyang pina-plano.“I still plan to pursue my studies and I’m still of course going to finish my education. But even in high school when I was focused mainly on school, I already took part in the plays at school, I would do drama classes, ganyan,” pag-amin nito.

“So I always had the passion for acting. It was genuinely something that I enjoyed and something I did in my free time. And at that time, because I was so busy with school, I would just do it in the school setting.”

“And eventually, because of the pandemic, I kind of realized na I’m capable of doing more than one thing, I’m capable of doing so many things. Why should I limit my dreams to only one thing in life when I feel like if I’m responsible and if I’m gonna manage my time, I can pursue multiple passions and multiple options for what my future should be.

“So, I think I kinda decided after reflecting with myself that I also wanted to pursue my passion which is acting while also doing my studies at the same time.”

Excited si Lorin sa kanyang magiging career at talagang pinaghandaan daw nito ang mga gagawin.

Aside from her mom, may blessing ang kanyang buong pamilya sa kanyang decision.

At nang matanong kung humingi rin ba siya ng permiso sa kanyang amang si Yilmaz Bektas, alam daw ito ng amang Turkish. “My mom definitely informed him of it. Hindi naman siya blind in everything that’s happening in my life and we update him what’s happening and take into account and respect his opinion naman. Pero my decision to join showbiz was fully my own and I had to ask of course permission from my mom but I didn’t necessarily say it that ‘can I join?’ But definitely, he’s aware and he knows about it.” sagot ng dalaga na gustong subukan ang acting ang hosting at feel good project ang mga gustong gawin.
