Jamir Garcia, Slapshock vocalist, patay sa edad na 42
MANILA, Philippines — Pumanaw na ang tanyag na bokalista ng legendary rap metal/metalcore group na Slapshock, ayon sa mga ulat na lumabas ngayong Huwebes.
Ayon sa ulat ng The STAR, natagpuang walang buhay ang katawan ni Jamir Garcia sa Lungsod ng Quezon. Siya ay 43-anyos lamang.

Ang nasabing report ay kinumpirma na rin ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD), ayon sa ulat ng DZRH ngayong araw. Wala pa namang pahayag ang kanyang dating mga kabanda kaugnay ng insidente.
Oktubre 2020 pa lang nang mag-disband ang banda matapos diumano hainan ng kasong "estafa" at "qualified theft" ni Jerry Basco, gitarista ng Slapshock, ng kasong si Jamir.

Ang pagbubuwag sa grupo ay kinumpirma na rin ng kanilang bassist na si Lee Nadela noong buwan ding iyon.
Bumuhos naman ang pakikiramay sa social media dahil sa pagkawala ng naturang Pinoy metal legend, na siyang namayagpag noong dekada '90 at 2000s.
