Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa WiFi nasa Netflix!

MANILA, Philippines — Wow mapapanood na sa Netflix ang pelikulang Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa WiFi starring Sue Ramirez, Jameson Blake and Markus Paterson na isa sa official entries sa Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) 2018 ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).

Translated as The Girl Allergic To WiFi, magiging available ang sweet, romantic comedy movie produced by Cignal Entertainment, October Train Films and The IdeaFirst Company sa popular streaming platform starting August, 21, 2019 and will be available globally except in China, Taiwan, Japan and India.

First title ito ng media giant na Cignal Entertainment (owned by Cignal TV, Inc. the Philippines’ premier direct to home satellite provider with more than 2 million subscribers nationwide) na ipalalabas sa Netflix, the world’s leading entertainment service.

Isa ito sa mga pinuring pelikula sa PPP 2018 na dinirek ng internationally acclaimed filmmaker Jun Robles Lana (Bwakaw, Die Beautiful), kuwento Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa WiFi ni Norma, isang popular girl in high school na na-diagnosed with Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity Disorder (EHS).

Dahil dun ay hindi na siya puwedeng gumamit ng kahit anong gadget or be around any gadget, pinadala si Norma sa kanyang lola sa isang remote location na walang mobile signal para mabilis na gumaling sa kakaibang condition na magiging dahilan din para magkaroon sila ng problema ng kanyang boyfriend.

“I am excited that our film will reach the diverse audience of Netflix,” said director Lana. “The younger viewers will see themselves in the characters and perhaps wonder what it’s like to be suddenly disconnected from the digital world.
