Ayen napilitang layasan ang serye nina Kim at Gerald

MANILA, Philippines - Challenging at kakaiba ang pagiging kontrabida ni Ayen Munji-Laurel sa ABS-CBN series na Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin. Ganun pa man, kinailangan niya itong tapusin dahil sa kanyang maselang pagbubuntis.
Si Ayen ay married sa singer-actor na si Franco Laurel. May apat na siyang anak at panlima na nga itong kanyang pinagbubuntis.
Malapit nang matapos ang unang trimester ni Ayen sa kanyang pagbubuntis kaya minabuti na niyang um-exit sa series para makapaghanda sa panganganak sa December 12.
Gumaganap si Ayen sa morning series bilang Victoria Dela Vega. Isa siya sa mga main kontrabida na nagpapahirap sa buhay nina Gerald Anderson at Kim Chiu.
Nagsimulang mag-taping si Ayen sa soap October last year at nalaman niya na siya nga ay nagdadalang tao noong April, isang buwan bago umere ang Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin. Hanggang dulo sana ang karakter ng aktres kaya nagkaroon ng konting conflict sa story na agad namang pinag-usapan ng manager ni Ayen na si Popoy Caritativo at ni Deo Edrinal ng Dreamscape.
Malaki nga raw ang ipinayat ni Ayen dahil hindi siya makakain at palaging nagsusuka sa taping. “In fact,” Ayen said, “in a crying scene with Jake (Cuenca), I started to hyperventilate they had to call someone to check my pulse rate which was very high at that time. Hirap na talaga ako.”
Nagpapasalamat naman si Ayen sa oportunity at suportang natatanggap mula sa ABS-CBN at Dreamscape.
“They were very, very supportive and very caring. They even had a medical team on board while I was taping. They also reduced my cut-off time from 2 a.m. to 12 midnight. They were very considerate. I couldn’t ask for a better team. Sobrang bait nila,” kwento pa ng aktres.
Noong una raw ay na-depressed si Ayen dahil hindi nga plano itong kanyang pagbubuntis.
“You have to understand that I am a planner. It’s hard to see my plans being vanquished in one fell swoop. Isa pa, at my age, the ratio of getting pregnant is only 2:2000. What are the chances that I will be part of the two? But I thank
God for the wonderful support system that I have. My family and friends, and our church family were very supportive. I really feel the grace of God through them. The kids were so happy when we told them of the news,” sabi ni Ayen. “I have learned to accept it with all my heart. God showed me that no matter what I have planned for my life, in the end it is still God’s plans that will prevail. I’m enjoying my pregnancy and relishing the rest from all my days of non-stop working. Come to think of it, the only time I am really able to rest is when I get pregnant!” pagtatapos pa ng aktres.
