Nagmalampuson ang Mangga Festival sa Barangay Kalunasan, Dakbayan sa Sugbo isip tipik sa mga kalihokan sa pagsaulog sa 74th founding anniversary sa  maong barangay.

Ang 18 anyos nga si Kyle Candace Las Marias nga  taga Unit III Oprra maoy napili nga Mangga Festival Queen.

Siya usab ang nanghakot sa minor awards, sama sa Best in Solo Presentation, Best in Festival Costume, ug Miss Slimmer World.

Ang iyang gidala nga grupo mao usab ang napili nga Best in Group Presentation, Best in Street Dancing ug mao usab ang nakakuha sa ikaduhang puwesto sa Ritual Showdown.

Bisan pa sa daghang pagsaway nga iyang nadawat gikan sa ubang tawo, wala gyud siya nagpaapekto niini ug mao kini ang nagsilbi niya nga kusog sa pagsalmot sa maong kompetisyon.

BNH: Nganung nisalmot ka sa Mangga Festival Queen?

Kyle:  Usa ka maayong opportunity to represent my place, it’s an honor and a privilege.

BNH: Kinsa ang nag- push nimo nga moapil sa Mangga Festival Queen 2016?

Kyle: Nag-una gyud ang akong family, friends, handler, (Sir Januar) and make-up artist, (Sir Winsy) , ug nituo gyud sila  nga makaya gyud nako ang maong competition.

BNH: Unsa nga mga preparation ang imong gihimo para sa contest?

Kyle: Everything is rehearsed; from how I walk, wave, dance and the on-stage smiling!

BNH: Unsa ang challenges nga imong naagian before pageant night?

Kyle: Self-pressure, negative criticism, time management..

BNH: Unsa imong mga nakat-onan sa imong pag-apil sa Festival Queen?

Kyle: Perfectionism isn’t always the most important thing to strive for, just believe in yourself”

BNH: Unsa imong gibati nga ikaw ang napili nga Mangga Festival Queen 2016?

Kyle: First time nako nga niapil og Mangga Festival, pagtawag sa akong number, contingent no.6, ako nahinumduman ra jud kay ang mga tawo nag- wild na.  That little memory is the best way to describe what it felt like to win my first pageant.

BNH: Unsa imong mga tips para sa mga gusto moapil sa susama nga kompetisyon?

Kyle: Always get to the stage with grace and elegance, tact and flexibility.

BNH: What is your strength and weakness?

Kyle: I find my family, relatives, friends, mentors, co-dancers, make-up artist, supporters as my strength because they believed in me and it was a great help for me to win the pageant. Controlling my emotions is my biggest weakness but I guess I became the master of my emotions during the pageant night.

BNH: What do you want to achieve in the future aside from joining other competitions?

Kyle: Finish a Degree in Dental Medicine

BNH: Unsa dayon ang imong gibuhat pagkahuman sa imong kadaogan?

Kyle:I was so happy and overwhelmed, thanked the Man above for all the blessings! No matter where I go in life, I will always cherish this experience! I am much obliged to my family, loved ones, mentors, co-dancers, friends, relatives for being unfailingly supportive, the gorgeous and talented candidates, the judges who loved my flaws, and to the people who gave me strength to come out of my shell and prove myself.
