BANAT NEWS  HUGYAW (BNH): Kinsay nag-convince nimo to join Miss Cebu?

Vida: A lot of people convinced me to join Miss Cebu; my friends, my coach, my mentors, my titas and my sisters (who are not even related to me by blood, but love them like my siblings anyway). But in the end, I made a decision and stepped up and attended the screening date. I told myself “you want this? Let’s do this.” I thought that Miss Cebu will help me become a better Cebuana. In this #MissCebuJourney by far, I am amazed by the things I have learned. The knowledge that the commissioners and the people behind Miss Cebu have shared to us, have helped me understand my roots as a Cebuana.

BNH: Pabor ka ba og physical enchancement?

Vida: In all honesty, I really do appreciate the physical enhancement that are available nowadays. I am in favor for it.  I have friends who have had physical enhancements and made them feel good and look good. If it makes someone happy, why not? If it makes you feel comfortable, why not? If I were financially blessed, I would like to enhance my two little teeth right beside my two front teeth (which I really love, by the way). I’d love to have them slightly bigger. =)

BNH: Proudest moment sa imong kinabuhi?

Merl: The proudest moment of my life is simply being part of the Dean’s List because honestly it is so hard to balance my studies and my career together. However I always prioritize my studies.

BNH: Kinsa imong gi-idolize nga beauty queen?

Merl: Ganahan kay ko ni Shamcey Supsup. I think she is my favourite beauty queen. I had the chance to bond and converse with her in person. I have witnessed how her physical beauty fits her charm, humility and beautiful heart well.

BNH: Hapit na ang eleksyon, unsa nga klase nga presidente imong botaran?

Merl: My ideal president is someone who is honest and true to his words.
