CEBU, Philippines - Nakadawat karon og mga pagsaway ang Mr. Mandaue 2011. Kini human dunay mga nanimpad sa maong indigay ang mireklamo kay matud pa, wala sunda sa organizers ang gipasiatab nga, “No Walk In Applicants.”

Nasayran nga kaduha nagpahigayon og screening alang sa Mr. ug Miss Mandaue 2011—March 5 ug March 13.

Ang reklamo mao nga dunay upat ka mga official candidates sa nahisgutang male pageant ang matud pa mga “walk-in,” o wala marehistro isip pageant aspirant nga gitakda nga magpa-screen sa nahisgutang petsa.

Apan ang Pageant Director nga si Jojin Pascual kinsa mao pud ang over-all chairperson sa Mandaue Fiesta Committee sa interview sa Banat News Hugyaw kagahapon pinaagi sa telepono, hugtanong mihimakak sa pasangil nga dunay gipaboran ang komitiba pinaagi sa pagdawat sa ‘walk-in” aspirants.

Samtang mga pagsaway mabasa sa Facebook fan page nga “Mandaue Fiesta 2011.”

Usa ka ginganlan og Craige Kirk ang nagkanayon sa fan page niadtong Lunes: “giuliano galicia, brylee camargo, fj.cimafranca..og carlos ching the following four names above were not in the schedule for screening for mr. mandaue wala sila sa march 5 and 12. these four should be disqualified if we just follow the rules NO WALK IN! simple.. mandaue organizer you are missed clean it up.. we will notify your sponsors not to support your pageant.”

Laing mikomentaryo mao ang ginganlan og Felix Kris: No walk in dapat but why these four made it? i smell politics...giuliano galicia, brylee camargo, fj.cimafranca..og carlos ching..eliminate this four asap... rules are rules to be follow..”

Samtang ang fan page administrator mitubag pud sa maong mga komentaryo niadto gihapong Lunes pinaagi sa pag-ingon: In answer to some of the comments regarding the rules, guidelines and the screening process here are some notes.   Just to clear things out: Mr Mandaue is an open competition. Though it is stated that the finalists should not be in any other competition between March and May, Cebu Tropical Hunks finalists were given exemption since CTH will culminate on this coming March 17. The main reason why we specified the guideline is to make it sure that there will be  no schedule conflicts and the first official event of the candidates will still be on the 26th of the month.”

Ozar Speaks Up

Si Danny Booc, tag-iya ug tagdumala sa Ozar Models, ang agency diin nahisakop ang upat ka giingong walk-in candidates namahayag sa Banat News Hugyaw kagahapon nga dili siya desperado aron dili musunod og balaod sa usa ka pageant.

“Di pud ko ingon ana ka desperate na magpa screen nga wa muagi og process. In fact twice bay mi nagpa screen, sa batch 1 ug sa 2nd,” nagkanayon si Booc.

Si Booc maoy manager nila ni Miss Mandaue 2008 ug Miss Cebu 2009 first runner-up Rizzini Gomez, Mr. Mandaue 2010 Marc Estuart, Miss Olive C Philippines Muriel Orais ug Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism Jacquiline Schubert.
