David Foster gustong makita ang lumang bahay nila Charice

Marami nang excited sa concert ng fifteen-time Grammy winner, record producer, composer, singer, songwriter and arranger na si David Foster sa bansa.

Bibihira ang ganitong pagkakataon kung saan kasama niyang magpi-perform for the first time sa ‘Pinas sina Natalie Cole, Charice, Peter Cetera, Ruben Studdard and the Canadian Tenors.

Say ni Mr. Foster sa mga interview para sa nasabing show entitled Hitman David Foster and Friends, “will be an evening of my music and sometimes it won’t be my music.”

May isang big hit sina Nathalie and David : “will also do some of her music.”

Charice, Cetera, Studdard and the Canadian Tenors are expected to interpret Foster’s songs.

“I was just with Charice recently and we were talking about how exciting the Philippines is when you see it for the first time. I’m looking forward to that,” sabi ng may hawak ng career ni Charice.

Bukod dito, he also wants to see more Filipino talent which he describes as something great.

Maraming-maraming sinulat na kanta si Foster na pinasikat ng iba - he produced and wrote hits like Chicago’s Hard to Say I’m Sorry, Cetera’s The Glory of Love and John Parr’s Man in Motion.

Other production and writing credits followed with hits for Alice Cooper, Al Jarreau, Hall and Oates, Kenny Rogers, Kenny Loggis, Boz Scaggs and Olivia Newton-John.

At siyempre, si Mr. Foster ang nakakita kay Charice sa show ni Ellen De Generes and introduced Charice to Oprah. He calls Charice “my newest baby.”

Tickets to Hitman are available at Ticketnet - 911-5555.

Si Ms. Malou ang nagpasikat sa mga most exciting loveteams mula kina Aga Muhlach kasama ang iba’t ibang leading ladies (Sharon Cuneta, Maricel Soriano, Angelica Panganiban, Claudine Barretto at iba pa), Jericho Rosales at Kristine Hermosa, Sam Milby and Toni Gonzaga, John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo, Kim Chui and Gerald Anderson, KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez, Angelica and Derek Ramsey.

“I’m a movie fan myself,” say ni Ms. Malou tulad din daw ng kanyang sister na si Ms. Charo Santos-Concio, presidente ng ABS-CBN. And she cheered for both Vilma Santos and Nora Aunor.

Kaya nga she was honored nang gumawa ng pelikula sa Star Cinema ang Star for All Seasons. At hindi lang isa, apat na beses pa - Anak, Bata-Bata Paano Ka Ginawa, Dekada ‘70 at ang bago pa lang na In My Life.

“I know what tickles the heart of a movie fan,” say niya habang sumusumpang movie fan siya forever.

“There’s that unexplainable x-factor. A good match probably means that, first, both stars are good actors; the partnership should be able to transcend genres; they are effective in drama, comedy, light romance, etc. Both stars should be driven and be united in the vision of where they will take their partnership.”

At ngayon, ang loveteam nina Erich and Enchong nga ang pinu-push nila. Binigyan agad sila ng solo movie na I Do na showing na September 29.

“I had the gut feeling that Erich and Enchong are a good match when I saw them in Katorse and then in Tanging Yaman and Magkaribal. May chemistry ‘yung dalawa. You just can’t miss it. They look good together, they enjoy what they’re doing. They are both driven to succeed. They act really well and I think they will make it.”

Eh paano naman nila bini-build up ang loveteam? “Television is always almost all the time the springboard. If the audience embraces the loveteam, it is when we take them to the movies,” katuwiran ni Ms. Malou.

Ang I Do ay dinidirek ni Veronica Velasco.

Ka-join din sa movie sina Pokwang, Dennis Padilla, Janus del Prado, Nash Aguas, Ricardo Cepeda, Isay Alvarez, Jun Urbano with Melai Cantiveros.
