Jessica, Howie, Mike, at Mel pasok sa most trusted Filipinos

MANILA, Philippines - Apat na pillars ng GMA News and Public Affair ang kasama sa Top 15 most trusted Filipinos, ayon sa nationwide survey na ginawa ng monthly magazine na Reader’s Digest.

Si Jessica Soho, GMA VP for News Programs at kinikilala bilang most awarded Filipino broadcast journalist, ay pangatlo sa survey, kasunod lamang nina Philippine Red Cross Governor Rosa Rosal at international singing star Lea Salonga.

Nanguna sa lahat ng news personalities sa listahan ng Reader’s Digest, pinuri si Soho sa kanyang expertise sa breaking news stories sa harap ng camera. 

Ang beteranong documentary filmmaker at GMANews.tv editor-in-chief na si Howie Severino naman ay ka-tie ni bowling champion Paeng Nepomuceno sa pang-anim na puwesto sa listahan.

Nasa 9th place naman si GMA Kapuso Foundation Executive Vice President Mel Tiangco, habang si GMA Senior Vice President for Radio Operations Mike Enriquez ay pang-13. Sina Tiangco at Enriquez ay anchors ng GMA primetime newscast na 24 Oras.

Mistulang pagpapatunay rin ito sa resulta ng quantitative survey ukol sa high credibility ratings na isinagawa naman ng AGB Nielsen Philippines nung nakaraang September.

Nakakuha ang GMA ng 78.9 percent credibility rating. Nanguna rin dito ang per­sonalities ng GMA News and Public Affairs base sa “appeal, credibility, com­petence, and interest to watch.”

Nanguna si Soho sa lahat ng mga anchors at reporters sa appeal, si Enriquez naman ang hinirang ng mga respondents sa survey bilang most credible, habang si Mel Tiangco naman ang tinuring na most competent and most interesting to watch. Consistent naman sa Top 5 sina Arnold Clavio at Vicky Morales sa lahat ng measured attributes.
