Jim Brickman type si Regine

MANILA, Philippines - Ang Grammy-nominated recording artist na si Jim Brickman ay walang sawa sa pagtatrabaho dahil heto at busy na naman siya sa isang world concert tour para sa kanyang bagong album, ang Beautiful World. Makakasama niya sa 75 cities ang mga kinikilalang musikero tulad nina Jon Secada, American Idol Season 6 finalist Melinda Doolittle, Canadian singer Mark Masri, Anne Cochran, at Tracy Silverman.

 Bago ang ilang mga nilikhang kanta at piano pieces ni Jim na nakapaloob sa Beautiful World CD niya tulad ng Beautiful World (We’re All Here) na kinanta ni Adam Crossley. Maririnig din sa album ang What the World Needs Now is Love at What a Wonderful World. Ang Philippine edition ay ang Never Far Away na si Christian Bautista ang kumanta.

 Marami pang magagandang musika sa Beautiful World dahil 21 tracks lahat ang nasa album na mula sa Universal Records. “The message of the song is you should be able to find your own path of life. You should make your own choices in life,” sabi sa interview.

Ilang beses na ring nakapunta ng bansa si Brickman. Five years ago ang huli niyang bisita kung saan nagkaroon siya ng concert sa PICC.

Naka-trabaho na rin niya sina Lea Salonga, Sharon Cuneta, Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez, Erik Santos and Ariel Rivera.

Pero may gusto pa siyang makatrabaho. Si Regine Velasquez na minsan niyang napanood at narinig kumanta. Naku ha, baka naman pagselosan siya ni Ogie Alcasid?

Dumating si Brickman sa bansa last Tuesday galing ng Amerika.

Nag-perform siya sa Weastwood Mall the other night. (ER)
