Libro ni Jennylyn may problema pa

Mukhang mabubulilyaso pa ang pre-selling ng coffee table book ni Jennylyn Mercado as originally planned in her May 14 I Am Woman concert at the Music Museum. Titled Reborn, this is Jen’s ‘written self’ at its truest.

Ayon sa manager niyang si Becky Aguila, nagkakaproblema raw sa creative director nito who needs to take additional shots na kailangan pa ng libro. “But it’s such a nice book. We got new blood of writers kaya fresh ang mga ideas,” Becky says of the collector’s item.

Meanwhile, I Am Woman is Jen’s return to the concert scene after three years. Also performing are Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, Mark Herras, Richard Poon and Christian Bautista. Nasa likod ng project na ito ang Belo Medical Group, undeniably the country’s most revered beauty clinic, kung saan latest addition to the growing list of endorsers ang singer-actress.

Takaw-pansin ang nagmumurang pink Louis Vitton bag ni Alyssa Alano which I’ve seen her bag around with a couple of times.

So, she’s a sucker for expensive items?

Kunsabagay, I bear witness to how this girl works her butt.

No time for love? “Wala na po,” sey ng hitad. And to that I say, charot!

Joey de Leon only has praises for Tape Inc. big cheese Mr. Tony Tuviera, also the man behind APT Entertainment, producer of at least six indie films showing in succession.

Hindi man lang daw sila inimporta ni Mr. Tuviera na lumabas in any of those six films. Thinking na baka raw tanggihan nilang lumabas in small-budget movies.

Given a chance din daw, the TV host-comedian is willing to appear in indie films kesehodang ‘di hamak na mas mababa ang talent fee. “Iba rin kasi ‘yung fulfillment mo as an artist na makagawa ng makabuluhang pelikula. Kahit nga walang bayad, oh. Legacy rin kasing matatawag ‘yon that an artist can pass on to the next generation of stars.”

This time, ‘indie’ nagpapatawa ang seryosong komedyante.
