Kabilang ako sa early batch of reporters invited to its initial telecast na nagsimula nitong Lunes. ‘‘Ang kaibahan nito, kung nasanay ako sa bullet points na ini-expound ko, here on SNN, may binabasa kaming script,’’ sey ni Kuya Boy of their nightly program (9:45-10:45 na pre-programming ng Tayong Dalawa).
And watching its pilot episode, ang pagiging fast-paced nito is one of its strengths not to mention the tried-tested hosting genius of Kuya Boy and Kris.
Yun nga lang, may hinampo si Kris. Hindi raw kasi nito alam kung paano mapalulusot ang kanyang mga bati. I couldn’t help but recall Kris’s Startalk days (remember that she, Kuya Boy, and Lolit Solis started the then-Sunday show more than 13 years ago).
Panay kasi ang pang-ookray noon ni Kris kay ’Nay Lolit sa 60-second Alok-bati segment nito saying that, ‘‘It cheapens the show!’’
Now, Kris realizes that the long list of bati is already a show in itself.
