Element Of Malice
Sa mga beterano na sa showbiz, hindi Greek-sounding ang pangalang Annie Susano. Ani Lolit Solis, panahon pa raw noon ni Inday Badiday nang makilala ang ngayo’y two-term na congresswoman.
And if there is anybody who holds the key the lady newsmaker’s well-guarded secrets, yun ay walang iba kundi si ‘Nay Lolit.
Kapansin-pansin na bukod kay Alfred Vargas and hopefully other stars in the group ay nagtataglay ang mga ito ng star material. But they’re not just pretty and handsome faces, iniangkop lang daw nila ang kanilang line-up sa ganda ng Quezon City.

Through the intercession of Ricky Lo ay nakatanggap ako ng tawag mula kay Boy Abunda, apparently concerned about the libel charges that John Lapus is set to file against me (and another reporter).
Nauna ko kasing sinabi kay Tito Ricky na ang tulad kong ‘small fry’ in the industry ang puwedeng pagbalingan ni Sweet, not the likes of Kuya Boy na puwede rin niyang hainan ng kontra demanda. Isa lang naman ang ginagawang batayan ni Sweet ng kanyang impending legal action - ang pagdepensa ko kay Kuya Boy over the Calayan billboard issue.
Bakit who did Sweet think was I supposed to defend? Siyempre, yung taong nasa katwiran, and I believed it was Kuya Boy. Kaya tanggalin ni Sweet that there’s an element of malice (either in law or in fact) sa sinasabi niyang dalawang artikulong isinulat ko at nakalap niya which are now being evaluated by his lawyer.
To begin with, ang presensiya ng malice comes with the person’s galit towards another person. How could I be angry with Sweet gayong napakalalim na emosyon ito na dinadala mo lang sa isang taong malapit sa iyo.
In libel (which I taught for three years, FYI), there are four elements that need to be present para masabing libelous ang isang materyal.
