Here’s a tale of two showbiz death.

Nagkataong paalis daw patungong Amerika si Carmen when contacted, she had to delegate the took to Imelda na siya namang tumulong kay Didith for nearly two years.

Magkaiba man ang henerasyon, dulo’t dulo man ang kanilang mga larangan, both Marky and Didith were perceived to have led difficult lives. If it’s any consolation, nananatiling buhay ang kanilang mga alaala as they once touched our hearts.

To go on stage on December 17 at the Teatrino in Greenhills, bukod sa labanan ito ng walang-kupas na tinig ng dalawang Carmen ay patalbugan din ito as who’s the sexier chanteuse. Both at 68, nakakaintriga kung paanong mapapanatili nina Tita Carmen S. at Tita Carmen P. ang kanilang shapely figure minus – take note – the ‘wonders of science.’

Bagama’t may parehong pangalan at edad, and with an indelible mark in the history of local (isama na ang international) entertainment, magkaiba sila ng pag-uugali. Soriano strikes na me as Susan Roces, while Pateña is like Rosanna Roces.

Despite persistent efforts by Startalk, tumangging magpa-interbyu ang mag-asawang William Martinez at Yayo Aguila kaugnay ng progreso sa isinampang kaso ng kanilang anak na si Patrizha laban kay Baron Geisler.

I can only surmise na maaaring inirereserba lang ng mag-asawa ang kanilang reaksyon after the December filmfest. May entry kasi si Baron, ang Baler ng Viva Films, where the embattled actor in real life plays the role of Capt. Enrique de las Morenas.

Ang latest, binuweltahan ni Baron at ng kanyang abogado ang tatlong kawani ng DOJ sa rekomendasyon nitong kasuhan na ang aktor ng acts of lasciviousness. Nai-raffle na rin ang naturang kaso sa Makati City Metropolitan Court.

God forbid, ang worst case scenario nito’y ang pages-serve of arrest warrant kay Baron, na bagama’t maaari siyang mag-post ng bail ay tuloy pa rin ang pagdinig sa kaso. In the meantime, it’s Baron’s fans’ chance to see him in Baler bago maganap ang ayaw niyang mangyari.
