Without a scintilla of doubt, Cristy Fermin caps this year’s rundown of the biggest showbiz events. Literal kasi na hanggang huling araw ng 2007 (December 31) ang effectivity ng ipinataw na suspension order sa kanya by the TV network that she has perpetually referred to as “ang istasyong may haplos ng pagmamahal.”

However, despite Cristy’s firm position, naninindigan ang nakausap ko mula sa ABS-CBN na paglabag umano ’yon sa nakasaad na kontrata ng TV host, damay pati ang kanyang radio program. And for all that Cristy is whining about is a matter, according to my source, that can be resolved by silence.
But one thing though is loud: Ito’y ang ispekulasyon that in all probability, Cristy, like a squatter forced to evacuate on the strength of a demolition order, will resettle somewhere.
