Rosanna may kapalit na sa trono

Itsura ng Christmas in October ang kinalabasan ng ipinatawag na presscon as Richard Gutierrez joins the league of celebrities whose perfect teeth have earned them toothpaste commercial endorsements.

Surely, ipinagpilitan ni Tita Annabelle Rama na pamunuan ng ACS Manufacturing Corporation na gawin ding unique ang paglo-launch sa kanyang anak bilang endorser ng Unique Toothpaste, which has already been in the market for 13 years.

But the revelation of revelations that night came from the company president himself, Mr. Alfonso Supetran. In hindsight, si Christine Bersola pala ang kinuha nilang endorser 13 years ago, however, Unique sold poorly on the market. Kinailangan daw muna nilang makabangong muli, and this they hope will happen with Richard as its new anti-tooth decay fighter.

Robert Villar, Jr., no relation to Speaker Manny Villar, is the smart kid who played the talkative Buboy in Dyesebel. Siya na ngayon si Boogie in La Lola, a street kid na inampon ni Facundo (JC de Vera).

GMA 7 must have been impressed by Robert’s acting genius that it immediately offered him a follow-up teleserye in the Pinoy version of the original Argentine soap.

Nakakatuwa naman kasi ang batang ito, nakakabilib ang kanyang memory when it comes to line delivery, a child prodigy, ’ika nga.

My apologies to Rosanna Roces, pero hindi na siya ang ‘Babaeng Walang Pahinga’ kundi mas angkop na itong itawag kay Valerie Concepcion. Imagine Val’s stints: Hosting job in Wowowee, regular appearance in Banana Split, left and right product endorsements. Oh, she must be made of a different stuff.

But just how does Val manage to get all this going without getting physically and mentally burned out? Dyaraaan (!), now comes the pralala, she drinks Energo to keep her going, going and going. Correction please, says Aldritz Corporation (the makers of the said health drink), hindi lang ito para sa mga babaeng always on the go, wala itong pinipiling kasarian, basta if you’re caught in a stressful situation (mapa-work, lovelife or what have you), it’s what anyone needs to keep him up on his toes.
