My e-mailers Jenny Ragasa from Hong Kong; Liberty Pagar, a sales merchandiser from Nicaragua and Noel Quiambao, a teacher from San Antonio, Texas all have one common say in reaction to my February 5 PSN article about Ms. Lorna Tolentino.
Isang mabilisang pasada lang ng kanilang mga e-mails. From Jenny: Lorna, be strong… and always keep your faith in God who is the Author and Finisher of our life. Take good care of yourself as well.
From Liberty: I was touched with the strength and spirituality of Ms. LT. My students here will pray for Mr. Rudy and Ms. LT and their family. Children’s prayers will speedily go to heaven, directly to God. And I believe in miracles, too. So, Thy will be done.
Pasensiya na if it’s not I who download my emails, somebody else does it for me. Copies are just being sent, like the emails of Jenny, Liberty and Noel which were already forwarded to Ms. LT.
With the outpouring of love, concern and support through your emails, most surely, Lorna can’t thank you enough.
Samantala, I texted Ms. LT to get a copy of the PSN Feb. 5 issue. Bandang hapon ’yon nu’ng nasa Asian General Hospital pala sila ni Kuya Rudy. Ito marahil ’yung nabanggit niya that they were seeing another set of doctors as to the next best option right after the not-so-favorable PET CT scan result obtained in Hong Kong.
By the way, CT stands for “computerized tumography”. To Jenny, Liberty and Noel, whose hearts go out to Ms. Lorna, let’s make the abbreviation mean “CHEER up, TOLENTINO!”

Beginning tomorrow, GMA-7 develops another viewer’s habit na pakatutukan ang Joaquin Bordado, produkto ng malikhaing isip ng batikang komiks king cum film director na si Carlo J. Caparas.
With no less than Robin Padilla in the title role, I think that JB is GMA’s most incalcuably expensive production: Set, costumes, special effects, stunts, and the actors’ fees notwithstanding.
At the launch over the week, para sa akin, the bigger star than the bida himself was Kylie Padilla. With features predominantly her mom Liezel’s, revelation si Kylie sa kanyang pagsayaw at stunts. I will be least surprised if come the PMPC Star Awards for TV, Kylie is a shoo-in for the New Female Discovery… minus the expected rigging?
