GMA Pinoy TV nagpaliwanag sa mahinang signal sa Middle East

Pinagpipiyestahan pala ngayon sa mga sosyalang saloon ang tungkol sa umano’y affair ng isang newscaster sa isang politician. Ang drama raw ng politician, from one newscaster to another newscaster. Dati nang naintriga ang nasabing politician sa isang newscaster na may-asawa pero ngayon daw ay over na ang tungkol sa dalawa dahil sa isang separada namang news personality ang apple of the eye ng nasabing pulitiko na sabi nga ng isa kong friend na politician din ay hindi naman masyadong kaguwapuhan pero magaganda ang nagiging ‘girlfriend.’ Katuwiran naman ng isa naming kausap, "pleasant ang mukha ng nasabing politician at matalino. Saka siyempre sobrang yaman, never mind the age dahil mukha pa naman siyang bata." Pero may nag-protesta: "Eh ang laki naman ng tiyan niya."

Hay naku whatever. Basta ang issue, newscaster killer daw si Mr. Politician na ‘wag na lang nating bigyan ng masyadong clue dahil madaling mahulaan.

This is with reference to the article written by Ms. Salve Asis which appeared on her column, BABY TALK (Ang Pilipino STAR Ngayon), October 24, 2006.

This is to confirm that during the last few days, signal reception interference has been experienced on all three (3) Filipino channels currently being delivered out of the Philippines.

Channels affected are Pinoy Box Office (VIVA Entertainment) and NBN (PTV4), and GMA PINOYTV.

These Filipino channels are backhauled on TELSTAR 10, a satellite operated by LORAL and commissioned by Orbit to deliver signal from the Philippines to the Middle East.

We have traced the interference as external in source and outside of Orbit’s broadcast service control. The interference is unpredictable but is observed prevalent during sundown.

However, please communicate with Ms. Asis’ and in turn to Orbit’s Filipino subscribers who may be readers of her column in the Middle East that we apologize for the inconvenience. The broadcast of GMA Pinoy TV out of the Philippines remains perfect and uncompromised, and that a technical solution on reception is forthcoming within the week.
