Hi! I am an avid fan of your column from Cebu.
Whenever I have the chance, I always get to read your article.
I just finished reading your share of "scoop" today via internet. Honestly, I was so touched by the letter you posed about Judy Ann Santos. I must admit, I am not a Juday follower (Tanya Garcia is my object of fantasy, that is).
Since then, I had noticed that ABS-CBN wasn't so keen in giving this poor lass a much-deserved credits and recognition, as much as it did and have been doing to other lead stars, like as mentioned, Claudine, Kristine, Piolo, etc. Perhaps, Juday is no fairer than Claudine and Kristine, but her box office draw is undisputable. When I heard the news that her latest movie was such a big hit, even beating a much-publicized Hollywood movie, I just thought (though, I didn't care much) Star Cinema through its collosal network would launch a "thank you" campaign or something to that effect that would even remind the moviegoers that the movie indeed made a lot of money and that it had been extended for weeks. But, in vain.
With this, I would like to believe that ABS-CBN is not treating Judy Ann (the country's brightest star, to that effect) really well. The question is, WHY?
Thanks, and more power to your column!
