Bagong VRB chairman

Si Retired Brig. Gen. Manuel B. Mariano, AFP, ang na-appoint ni President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo bilang Chairman/Chief Executive Officer ng Videogram Regulatory Board under the Office of the President. Pinalitan niya si Atty. Enrique M. Montero.
Si Gen. Mariano ay kilala sa AFP circles bilang isang nosed reformer and idealist. He brings with him 38 years of experience in the government.

He is a graduate of Philippine Military Academy and holds Master’s degrees from Asian Institute of Management, The University of Asia and the Pacific and the US National Defense University in Washington, D.C.
