Slapshock: Headtrip the Launch

Ang Pinoy rap metal pioneers na Slapshock ay magkakaroon ng album launching, Headtrip under the Virgin Label of OctoArts EMI Music sa January 26, 2001, Friday at the U.P. Bahay Ng Alumni. The album launch comes on the heels of recently being awarded the Gold Record Award last Sunday at S.O.P. for their debut album "4th Degree Burn".

Ang band ay nabigyan na rin ng award, namely, Best Music Video, Best New Artist and the Listeners Choice Award at the NU Rock Awards 2000 and Best Sound Engineering at the Awit Awards 2000. Sila ay magpi-perform ng kanilang large following’s favorite Slapshock hits such as "Evil Clown," "Sick Curtain," and "Agent Orange" as well as their songs from their new album, si Myra Ruaro a.k.a. Skarlet ng Brownbeat All-Stars ang magiging guest sa launching.
