Cavite Blue Wahoos wagi sa SLP swim fest
Tinanghal na kampeon ang Blue Wahoos sa Swim Battle 1st Leg ng SLP swimfest.

MANILA, Philippines -- Kumolekta ang Cavite Blue Wahoos Swimming Club ng kabuuang 650 points para tanghaling overall champion ng Swim Battle 1st Leg na idinaos sa Muntinlupa Aquatics Center sa Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.

Dinomina ng mga swimmers ni coach Hans Rafael Sumalde ang nasabing torneo na inorganisa ng Swim League Philippines (SLP) at nagsisilbing 6th anniversary celebration ng swimming organization na pinamumunuan ni Fred Ancheta-Galang.

“Ito ang aming kontribusyon sa misyon ng Philippine Aquatics, Inc. na palakasin ang programa sa antas ng grassroots,” ani Ancheta-Galang.

Nakopo ng South Warriors Swimming Team ni coach Marlon Dula ang first runner-up kasunod ang Boa Say Resort Aquatic Club Piranhas ni coach Emer Matienzo at Sharknado Swim Team ni coach Gary Geru Jaime Quinton.

Pasok din sa top seven ang Swim Masters Swimming Team ni coach Zaldy Lara, Turumba Guadalupe Swim Team ni coach John Abin at SEC Shark Swim Club ni coach Roland Bautista.

Kabuuang 750 manla­langoy kabilang ang mga batang may espesyal na pangangailangan, Para swimmers at may autism spectrum mula sa 70 koponan sa Maynila at Luzon ang lumahok sa naturang swimming meet na umaakit din ng mga koponan mula sa Guam, Qatar, Canada, Singapore at Malaysia.

Ginawaran ng Most Outstanding Swimmers (MOS) sa Class D sina Victoria Eunice Galvez, Sophia Nicole Eugenio, Juyeon Moon, Mikelle Chrysler Tabay, Kyrie Alessandra Dela Cruz, Mica Gabrielle Sosa, Queenie Dhayve Sevillejan, Ranz Angel Capistrano, Jean Nathalie Apacible, Erica Joy Panahon , Alexandrea Denise Bejosano, Miguelita Vasquez, Ma.
