MVP kumpiyansa sa PLDT

MANILA, Philippines — Pinalakas ni PLDT president/CEO Manny V. Pa­ngilinan ang loob ng PLDT High Speed Hitters bago sumabak sa parating na Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.

Bumisita ang High Speed Hitters kay Pangilinan sa PLDT headquarters sa Makati City.

“The goal is to have as many Filipino volleyball athletes as possible representing us in international events—and maybe even the Olympics,” sabi ni MVP sa tropa.

“We will continue to work with partner leagues and organizations to help make this possible. Of course, the work begins with our team. They make us very proud, and we hope they continue to play their hearts out on the court,” dagdag nito.

Pinalakas ng PLDT ang kanilang puwersa matapos hugutin sina dating Most Valuable Players Kianna Dy, Majoy Baron at Kim Fajardo para makatuwang nina Fil-Canadian Savannah Davison at skipper Kath Arado.

Si Arado ang papalit kay Mika Reyes na may injured right shoulder at walong buwan hindi maglalaro, ayon kay coach Rald Ricafort.

“We are excited to see volleyball court action resume this February. As always, we are here to support the PLDT High Speed Hitters in this new season,” ani PLDT at Smart sports head Jude Turcuato.
