MANILA, Philippines — Inilatag ni Brent International School Manila standout Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ang matikas na porma nito matapos humakot ng isang ginto, isang pilak at isang tansong medalya sa 2024 Asia Pacific Activities Conference (APAC) Swimming Championships na ginanap sa International School of Beijing swimming pool sa Beijing, China.

Pinatunayan ni Mojdeh na water beast ito matapos pagreynahan ang girls’ 100m butterfly sa pamamagitan ng isang minuto at 3.33 segundo.

Inilampaso ng World Junior Championships semifinalist sina Gabrielle Sung ng China na nagkasya sa pilak tangan ang malayong 1:05.41 at Adison Chow ng Hong Kong na nakasiguro ng tanso bitbit ang 1:06.02.

“We are proud of her amazing achievements. I am so grateful to the entire Brent Aqualions Swim Team for these kind efforts of cheering for Jas on her last swim in APAC,” ani Joan Mojdeh na team manager ng Behrouz Elite Swimming Team-Philippines.

Bukod sa ginto, umani rin si Mojdeh ng pilak sa 50m butterfly (28.76) at tanso sa 100m Individual Medley (1:07.16).

“Thank you Jasmine for all the effort you have been bringing consistently since you were six years old until now. The highs, the lows, the in betweens,” dagdag ni Joan.

Nagpasiklab din si Zayden Ramos ng International School Manila na kumana ng dalawang ginto at dalawang tansong medalya sa boys division.

Nagdagdag naman ng tanso si ISM tanker Kenzo Bate sa boys’ 400m freestyle nang magtala ito ng 4:23.91.

Nakipagsanib-puwersa sina Ramos at Bate kina Zach Lee at Andres Albano sa pagsikwat ng tanso sa boys’ 200m freestyle relay (1:42.25).

Nagtala naman ng personal best times sina Tanji Waskiewicz ng Brent International School Manila sa girls’ 50m freestyle (32.87) at 50m breaststroke (40.87).
