Wycoco, Chope wagi sa URCC 85

MANILA, Philippines – Ginamit ni Allen Wycoco ang kanyang boxing experience para talunin si Dondon “Rugbiboy” Serrano sa kanilang bareknuckle boxing welterweight duel sa Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) 85: UNDERDOG sa DD Night Club sa Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

Sinandalan ni Wycoco, dating amateur boxer na nakabase sa New Zealand bago sumama sa Dyincredible Fighting and Fitness Center, ang kanyang karanasan para umiskor ng fourth technical knockout win kay Serrano.

“My coach instructed me to use my boxing skills, use my footwork and clinch wisely,” sabi ng 32-anyos na si Wycoco.

Kumonekta si Wycoco, ginagabayan ni mixed martial artist Rolando Dy, ng mga kombinasyon kay Serrano sa third at fourth round bago itigil ng referee ang laban sa 2:44 minuto.

Sa isa pang bareknuckle featherweight fight, pinatulog ni Dan Ascano si Gerardo Sismundo sa first round.

Samatala, pinasuko ni dating Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter Will Chope si Brian Paule via rear naked choke sa first round para mapanatili ang URCC welterweight interim title.

May 42-19 record ngayon ang 32-anyos na si Chope.

“I’m a man of my words and this is my 136 MMA professional fights. I did everything in the URCC for 12 years and I am thankful to Alvin (Aguilar),” ani ng 32-year-old na si Chope.

Ang URCC fight card na inorganisa nina founding president Alvin Aguilar at URCC co-owner/General Manager Aleksandr Sofronov ay sinuportahan ng Crazywin at ng DD Night Club.

Sa preliminary fights, tinalo ni Rhyle Lugo si Richard Lachica sa second round via technical knockout sa kanilang featherweight fight at binigo ni Tokartzhy Ushqyn si Dave Morata sa lightweight class sa second round.

Sa Philippine Mixed Martial Arts Federation bouts, natalo ni Jerald Vellarde si John Vallega sa pamamagitan ng unanimous decision sa lightweight habang  dinurog ni Catherine Soria si Jessa Sarabia sa ikatlong round sa pamamagitan ng technical knockout sa women’s strawweight battle. 

Giniba  ni Tristan De Mena si Shidjiroh Delantar sa second round sa pamamagitan ng technical knockout win sa light heavyweight bout at pinayuko ni Paolo Cruz si Gemil Clarinio gamit ang rear naked choke sa unang round sa amateur bantamweight bout.

Sa slap battle, wagi si Boy Kagang Jeffrey Castos kay Alex Tuazon Boy Tattoo sa pamamagitan ng unanimous decision win at hiniya ni Makahighlord Gerald Gabonada si Milarde Hugo Pongde sa via ng third round technical knockout victory.
