“Honestly, I couldn’t, I’m really speechless. I was overwhelmed by it. I never really thought. I’m actually recovering from my injury and I think that’s one of my motivations also to be 100 percent come the SEA Games because of that responsibility as well,” ani Valdez.
“You don’t wanna go there being not 100 percent so that’s one of my motivations (to recover). Honestly, I’m so happy not just to be the captain, but also to be part of the national team. I’m actually overwhelmed right now,” dagdag ni Valdez.
Kasama rin sina Chery Tiggo opposite spiker Mylene Paat, Choco Mucho wing spiker Kat Tolentino at middleblocker Cherry Nunag, PLDT libero Kath Arado at middle blocker Dell Palomata, at Cignal wing spiker Glaudine Troncoso at setter Gel Cayuna.
