Manila Swim Fest-SLP tagumpay!
Ang Marikina Posiedon Swimming Club sa pangu­nguna ni coach Mar Casas ang team champions sa ABC Division sa Manila Swim Fest-SLP.

MANILA, Philippines — Nasungkit ng Marikina Posiedon Swimming Club ang overall team cham­pion­ship title sa Manila Swim Fest-SLP na gina­nap sa Philippine Columbian Association (PCA) swimming pool sa Paco, Manila.

Nakalikom ang Marikina ng kabuuang 800.50 points para masiguro ang korona sa team event ng tornoeng magsisilbing qua­lifying para sa international tournaments sa Singapore, Thailand, Japan, United Arab Emirates at Amerika.

Pumangalawa ang Shar­peedo Swim Team hawak ang 635 points kasunod ang Solid Coaches Swim Team (534), Elite Swim Team (481), Angeles City Swim Team (249), Binangonan Athlete Swim Team (225.50) at Dinalupihan Swimming Team (222).

“We’re really surprised with the huge number of participants (48 teams). Patunay ito na talagang ready na ang ating mga swimmers na magbalik aksyon after almost three years of isolation dahil sa pandemic. This is good for swimming and SLP under the guidance of our founder and chairman Joan Mojdeh is always a partner in grassroots sports deve­lopment,” ani SLP president Fred Ancheta.

Sa Motivational Division, nagkampeon ang Ma­balacat City Flying Barracudas kung saan pinataob nito ang second-placer Aqua Athlete Swimming Club at third-placer Elite Swim Team sa event na suportado ng Langoy Pilipinas, Yingfa Pilipinas at Manila Sports Council (MASCO) katuwang ang CNLCSCA at Solid Coa­ches  Association.

Nanguna sa mga Most Outstanding Swimmers sa Division A sina Shinloah Yve San Diego, Loviell Lara Legaspi, Graexa Mhiel Larrazabal, Isablella Roan Ramirez, Gayle Ocampo, Chelsea Borja, Hanna Mikaela Lim, Reign Margaret Magnaye, Jastine Khloie Romales, Mund F. Garcia, John Dorer Rosales, Braeden Bien Gasal, Gideon Ancheta, Paul Vincent Ocampo, Anod Jose Padre, Mark Justine Africano, Master Janda, Seb Rafael Santos, Arvin Cedric Cantil, Lance Gadriel Lopez at Chris Jemuel Mallari
