Mojdeh bumandera sa Grand Prix

MANILA, Philippines — Nagparamdam agad ang Swim League Philippines-Behrouz Elite Swimming Team (SLP-BEST) sa 2022 PSI Long Course Grand Prix Qualifying Series NCR Leg sa Teofilo Ydelfonso Swimming Pool sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Bumandera sa ratsada ng SLP-BEST si Philippine national junior record hol­der Micaela Jasmine Moj­deh na nagpasiklab sa wo­men’s 400m freestyle event.

Nagsumite ang 16-an­yos na pambato ng Brent In­ternational School ng bi­lis na apat na minuto at 40.98 segundo sapat para magkuwalipika sa susunod na yugto ng Grand Prix.

Hindi inaasahan ni Moj­deh ang magandang oras dahil nasa kasagsagan ang kanilang koponan sa en­sayo para sa mas mala­laking torneong lalahukan ng koponan.

Sunod na pagtutuunan ng pansin ni Mojdeh ang PSI Grand Prix National Fi­nals sa Oktubre.

Ang Grand Prix Natio­nal Finals ay magsisilbing qua­­lifying event para ma­ka­paglaro sa SEA Age-Group Swimming Championships sa Malaysia sa Disyembre.

“I am looking forward to the Grand Prix Finals in Oc­tober for a better chance of aiming for best time and hopefully get the QTA in SEA Age for December,” sa­bi ni Mojdeh.

Maliban kay Mojdeh, nag­kuwalipika rin ang iba pang miyembro ng SLP-BEST na sina Filipino-Bri­tish Heather White at Ruben White, Filipino-Dutch Mar­cus De Kam at Julian De Kam at Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Pa­ranaque standout Julia Ysa­belle Basa.
