Quezon bets namayagpag sa Finis tilt

MANILA, Philippines — Humakot ang Quezon Killerwhale Swimming Team ng 15 gintong medalya sa pagsisimula ng 2022 FINIS Short Course Swim Series-Luzon leg kahapon sa New Clark City Aquatics Center sa Tarlac.

Bumandera sa ratsada ng koponan sina Hugh Antonio Parto, Marcus De Kam, Kristian Yugo Cabana at Fil-Briton Heather White na namayagpag sa kani-kanyang events.

May tatlong ginto sina Parto at De Kam habang dalawa naman ang nakuha nina Cabana at White.

Maningning din ang ratsada ni national junior record holder Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh na naka-pilak sa dalawang events sa torneong inorganisa ng FINIS Philippines.

Nanguna si Parto sa boys 15-16 100-m IM (1:03.30), 100-m butterfly (57.77) at 50-meter backstroke (29.55).

Namayagpag naman si De Kam sa boys premier 17-18 class, 100-m IM (58.95), 100-m butterfly (56.87) at 50-backstroke (27.49) habang wagi si White sa girls 17-18 100-m butterfly (1:02.74) at  100-m IM (1:07.16).

Sa kabilang banda, nakaginto si Cabana sa boys 11-12 100-m butterfly (1:09.23) at 100-m IM (1:14.34).

Ang iba pang gold medalists ay sina John Neil Paderes sa boys 19-over 100-m IM (59.75), at 50-m backstroke (26.58), Jules Mirandilla sa 100-m butterfly (56.13), Hannah White sa girls 9-10 IM (1:28.82), at 50-m backstroke (42.11).
