IP Games sa Benguet, isinulong ng PSC
MANILA, Philippines — Magdaraos ang Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) ng isang modified version ng Indigenous Peoples (IP) Games sa gitna ng kinakaharap na pandemya.
Ire-record ng PSC ang mga traditional sports at games ng mga IP communities sa probinsya ng Benguet para sa kanilang dokumentasyon sa pagpapahalaga, pagpreserba at promosyon ng mga ito.
“We’re happy and very thankful to Benguet Gov. (Melchor) Diclas and other officials as well as to tribe leaders for their understanding and support,” sabi ni PSC Commissioner Charles Raymond Maxey, ang oversight head ng IP Games program.
Katuwang ng PSC sa programa ang National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) sa pakikipagtulungan ng Pocari Sweat.
Binigyan din ng PSC si Gov. Duclas ng Certificate of Appreciation at ang Local Government Unit (LGU) ng Benguet.
Namahagi rin ang sports agency ng mga personalized tokens, sports supplies at equipment para magamit sa sports development program ng lalawigan.
