Mini bubble gagamitin ng Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3
Para sa kanilang unang season
MANILA, Philippines — Kung may ‘bubble’ ang National Basketball Association (NBA), may gagamitin namang ‘mini bubble’ ang Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 para sa kanilang torneo sa susunod na buwan.
Sinabi kahapon ni Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 Commissioner Eric Altamirano na gagawin nila ang kanilang komperensya sa loob ng INSPIRE (Integrated Sports Performance, Innovation and Recovery) Sports Academy sa Calamba, Laguna.
“Compared to the NBA, it’s actually a semi bubble for us kasi we will be holding at least two legs of our tournaments inside the bubble,” ani Altamirano sa webcast edition ng Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum.
“So more or less we will be staying inside the bubble for three nights and four days. And then we will go back again sa bubble after two weeks. So every two weeks we are going inside the bubble to finish our conference,” dagdag pa nito.
Ang Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 ang ikalawang professional basketball league na kinilala ng Games and Amusements Board (GAB) matapos ang Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Ang mga players, coaches at team staff na papasok sa “bubble” ay sasailalim sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19) testing na inorganisa ng UP Science and Society program.
May 12 teams na ang nagkumpirma ng kanilang paglahok sa Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 league na kinabibilangan ng San Juan-Go for Gold, Sulu, Porac-Big Boss Cement, Mindoro, Sta. Lucia Realty, Nueva Ecija at Zamboanga-Family’s Brand Sardines.
Tatlong komperensya ang ilalatag para sa unang season ng Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 na magsisimula sa Setyembre at magtatapos sa Pebrero ng 2021.
