MANILA, Philippines — Sinisi ng Billiards and Snookers Congress of the Philippines (BSCP) ang national team kasama si Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Rubilen Amit sa pagkakaantala ng kanilang monthly allowance.
Ayon kay BSCP secretary-general Robert Mananquil, si Amit ang nagbunyag na hindi pa nila natatanggap ang kanilang monthly allowance ngayong 2020.
Sinabi ni Mananquil na alam ni Amit na maaantala ang pagpapalabas ng monthly allowance ng national team dahil kailangan ng BSCP ng liquidation report tungkol sa pondong ginamit nila para sa SEAG training noong nakaraang taon.
“Part of the requirement is the liquidation of the financial assistance directly given to players for their SEAG preparation, Rubilen (Amit) included,” wika ni Mananquil. “The players and BSCP will not be given assistance without these.”
Kamakalawa ay sinabi ni Amit na nahihirapan siya pati na ang mga miyembro ng national squad dahil wala pa silang natatanggap na monthly allowance.
Kasalukuyan ding ginagawa ang training center, kaya hindi makapag-ensayo si Amit at ang national team.
“The problem now, we can’t meet with PSC chairman Butch Ramirez neither can we send communication due to the lockdown,” wika ng BSCP official. “And with all the problems the PSC is facing, does PSC still have money for billiards.
