LaVine, Bulls pinaghahandaan ang pagbabalik ng NBA
CHICAGO - Wala pang katiyakan kung kailan magbabalik ang mga laro ng NBA dahil sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Sinabi ni star guard Zach LaVine na kailangang maging handa ang Bulls team sakaling dumating ang nasabing oras.
“The main thing for me is to make sure everybody comes to the gym and we have one goal at hand,” ani LaVine. “We’ve got to come into training camp and be prepared with one goal in mind and we’ve just got to go for it.”
Sinuspindi ng NBA ang season noong Marso 11 matapos magpositibo si Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert sa COVID-19.
Naging kanya-kanya ang mga ginagawang pagpapakondisyon ng mga NBA players para paghandaan ang pagbabalik ng liga.
“You have to have goals. We had a goal coming into the year and we didn’t achieve it,” wika ni LaVine. “We fell really short. We weren’t as good as we thought we were. We didn’t play as well as we could’ve.”
Bago ang NBA shutdown ay nagposte si LaVine ng mga averages na career-best 25.5 points, 4.8 rebounds at 4.2 assists per game para sa 22-43 record ng Chicago.
Habang nasa home quarantine sa kanyang home state na Washington ay walang tigil ang two-time NBA slam dunk champion sa pagwo-work out at shooting.
