MANILA, Philippines — Ibinaba ni University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Basketball Commissioner Jensen Ilagan ang suspensyon ni University of the Philippines head coach Bo Perasol sa dalawang laro na lamang mula sa orihinal na tatlo.
Bunga nito, puwede nang makabalik si Perasol sa laro ng UP Fighting Maroons kontra sa University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers bukas sa alas-4 ng hapon sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.
“Last Saturday was the first time our office heard directly from Coach Bo and we appreciate his sincerity and evident humility in expressing his regret regarding the incident between him and referee Rivano which happened last September 29,” pahayag ni Ilagan.
“Coach Bo emphasized how he deeply regretted his actions towards the official and extended his apology towards the UAAP Board, organization, and the entire community,” dagdag ni Ilagan.
Ayon naman kay UAAP executive director Rebo Saguisag na sinusuportahan ng UAAP ang anumang desisyon ni Ilagan.
