MANILA, Philippines — Kumpleto na ang 16-man lineup ng Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation (POSF) na isasabak sa darating na 30th Southeast Asian Games na nakatakda sa Nobyembre 30 hanggang Disyembre 11.
Ito ang inihayag kahapon ni POSF president Atty. Alberto Agra sa Phi-lippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum sa Amelie Hotel, Manila kung saan anim na gold medals ang nakataya sa 2019 SEA Games.
Ang tropa ay binubuo nina Kevin Pascua, Mark Rodelas, Sherwin Managil, Mervin Guarte, Jeffrey Reginio, Nathaniel Sanchez, Monolito Divina at Kyle Antolin sa men’s side.
Sina Rochelle Suarez, Milky Mae Tejares, Sandi Abahan, Glorien Merisco, Kaizen Dela Serna, Deanne Moncada, Klymille Rodriguez at Diana Buhler ang kakampanya sa female side.
“We are doing everything in training. The aim is to win all six gold medals in the SEA Games,” sabi ni Merisco kasama rin sina coach Edward Obiena at Judith Staples ng team sponor Luminox.
Ang anim na gold me-dals na paglalabanan sa obstacle sports event sa 2019 SEA Games ay sa men’s at women’s individual 5 km x 20 obstacles, men’s at women’s 100m x 10 obstacles at sa 400m x 12 obstacles team assist at team relay.
Kasalukuyan nang pinapanalisa ng POSF ang gagamiting venue na maaaring ilagay sa Sunken Garden sa University of the Philippines campus.
