PH jins wagi ng 14 medalya sa Jordan tilt

MANILA, Philippines — Nag-uwi ang Philippine taekwondo team ng kabuuang 14 medalya kabilang na ang siyam sa  poomsae (forms) at lima sa kyorugi (free sparring) sa 2019  Asian Junior and Cadet Championships na ginanap sa Amman, Jordan.

Ang koponan na sinusuportahan ng PLDT Home Ultera/MVP Sports Foundation ay nagwagi ng dalawang gintong medalya, isang silver at anim na bronzes sa poomsae event bukod sa isang silver at apat na bronze medals sa kyorugi event.

Pinangunahan ni Matthew Corton ang koponan sa kanyang ginto mula sa authorized individual male event habang dinomina naman ni Paul Anthony Rodriguez at  Maria Nicole Anne Labayne ang authorized poomsae pair event sa 14-year-old division.

Nakakuha rin ng me­dalya sa poomsae sina Justin Kobe Macario, silver, free style individual, under 17; Justin Kobe Macario, James Oranza, Johann Abelard Concepcion, Alyssa Lou Llenes, Cindy Joy Dias­nes, bronze, authorized male team, under 17; King Nash Alcairo, bronze, authorized individual male, under 17;  Jamie Hannah Agaloos, bronze, authorized individual female, under 14; Ian Matthew Corton, Joaquin Miguel Cerillo, Paul Anthony Rodriguez, authorized male team, under 14; Jamie Hannah Agaloos, Maria Nicole Anne Labayne, Aesha Klara Oglayon, bronze, authorized team female, under 14 at Allysa Lou Llenes, Cindy Joy Diasnes, Laeia Simoune Soria, bronze, authorized female team, under 17. 

Ang iba pang kyorugi medalists ay sina Sharifa Vianca Dela Cruz, silver, and Justin Mark Agno, bronze, Leigh Andee Rodriguez, bronze, Renzo Macerick Gavilanes, bronze at  Tachiana Keshia Mangin, bronze.
