Perpetual Junior Altas inangkin ang NCAA general championship
Ipinagdiwang ng host University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Junior Altas, sa pangunguna ni president at NCAA Season 94 Policy Board chairman Antho­ny Jose Moran Tamayo, ang pagiging general champion sa junior's division.

MANILA, Philippines — Bumandera ang host school University of Perpe­tual Help System Dalta Junior Altas sa overall sports discipline ng Season 94 NCAA para sa 2018-2019.

Inangkin ng Junior Altas ang una nilang general championship sapul nang su­mali sa pinakamatandang collegiate league sa bansa noong 1984.

Humakot ang Junior Altas ng 365 points para ungusan ang five-time ge­ne­ral champion San Beda Red Cubs (363.5 points).

Dahil dito ay nadiskaril ang hangad ng Red Cubs na makamit ang ikaanim na general championship.

Nanguna ang Tony Ta­mayo-owned school sa chess, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball at track and field para magposte ng tig-50 points.

Pumangalawa ang Junior Altas sa swimming (40 points), ikaapat sa table tennis (30 points) at football (30) at nakakuha ng tig-20 points sa basketball at lawn tennis, 15 points sa bad­minton at 10 points sa taekwondo.

Pumangatlo naman ang Arellano Braves sa na­hakot na 302.5 points.

“We congratulate the whole team and the whole of UPHSD community is proud of the accomplishments,” sabi ni Tamayo, ang NCAA Policy Board Chairman at UPHSD president .

Hinirang na Most Valua­ble Player sa kanilang mga nilahukang events sina Chris Pondoyo (chess), He­ro Austria (indoor volleyball), Noel Micheal Kampton at Jerick 'Toto' Arzaga (beach volleyball).

Samantala, kinilala namang coach of the year si­na FIDE Master Roel Abelgas (chess), Sandy Rieta (indoor volleyball) at Trece Academia (outdoor volleyball).
