Krog hari ng Tour of Matabungkay
MANILA, Philippines — Nagiging ordinaryo na para kay junior cyclist Rex Luis Krog ng Go For Gold Philippines ang manalo sa mga elite races.
Sa katunayan ay pinagharian ng 18-anyos na si Krog ang Tour of Matabungkay kung saan nakatuwang niya si Go For Gold teammate Ean Cajucom sa nasabing four-stage race.
Inangkin ni Krog ang overall general classification title sa kanyang tiyempong pitong oras, 11 minuto at 13.45 segundo kasunod sina runner-up Mark Ryan Mendoza (1:37 ang agwat) at third-placer Albert Primero (2:21 ang layo).
Pumang-apat naman ang 16-anyos na si Cajucom, nadiskubre ni Go For Gold project director Ednalyn Calitis Hualda, na may agwat na 2:45 minuto kay Krog.

Susunod na lalahukan ni Krog, nag-uwi ng silver medal mula sa 2018 UCI Asian championships ang three-day Tour de Linggarjati sa West Java sa Oktubre 25-27 at isa pang karera sa Indonesia.
