MANILA, Philippines — Nagningning sina Miguel Joaquin Valles at Alecsandra France Rivera sa kani-kanilang events upang banderahan ang mga Most Outstanding Swimmer awardees sa Motivational Division ng 129th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series - Lion’s Swim Challenge na ginanap sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex swimming pool sa Malate, Manila.
Nakaginto si Valles sa 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke at 50m breaststroke para mangibabaw sa boys’ 14-year event habang umani ng ginto si Rivera sa 50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke at 50m freestyle para sungkitin ang unang puwesto sa girls’ 12-year.
Nakahirit din ng MOS award si Jose Carlos Calderon sa boys’ 15-over nang sumisid ito ng apat na ginto sa 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 50m breaststroke at 50m freestyle sa torneong suportado ng Philippine Sports Commission.
“We’re happy with the outcome of the competition. A lot of swimmers have improved especially in the motivational level. We will continue monitoring their times to ensure that they’re on the right track,” pahayag ni PSL President Susan Papa.
Kabilang din sa mga MOS winners sina David Adam Jandayan (6-under), John Angelo Andaya (7), Clark Villanueva (8), Lexx Wynn Valdez (9), Principles Beldia (10), Ryan Maramot (11), Gabriel Joseph Jao (12) at Khent Ghelwin Rebancos (13) sa boys’ class.
Wagi rin sa girls’ division sina Claine Briana Lim (7), Princess Isshi Solomon (8), Megumi Kiyota (9), Asanti Audrey Jose (11), Andrei Jhennie Caropo (13), Sarah Laine Yee (14) at Quinn Alyjane Chua Tan Guat (15-over).
