MANILA, Philippines – Pagkakataon naman nina Behrouz Mohammad Mojdeh at Recz Edward Agustin na makuha ang spotlight matapos pangunahan ang mga Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awardees sa Motivational Category ng 88th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series - Inter-School/Inter-Club Motivational Yearender Swimming Meet.
Nakalikom ng 28 puntos si Mojdeh, ang nakababatang kapatid ng international campaigner na si Micaela Jasmine, para pagharian ang boys’ 5-under habang humakot ng 50 puntos si Agustin upang masiguro ang titulo sa boys’ 14 years.
“We are really focusing on grassroots level. It’s not easy to train these young swimmers. Of course we want them to be competitive but we are not forcing them. We want them to enjoy the sport and at the same time learn from it. It’s a gradual learning experience,” wika ni PSL President Susan Papa.
Sumosyo sa tagumpay sina Genevieve Nicole Zamora (girls’ 15-over), Gabriell Garlen Soriano at Marlon Tumague (boys’ 15-over), Calyn Zerelle Batac (girls’ 8) at Jameela Kristein Del Valle (girls’ 7) na nakasiguro ng MOS awards sa kani-kanilang dibisyon.
Ang iba pang MOS winners ay sina Nicole Espinosa (girls’ 6), Inigo Gigantone (boys’ 6), Neal Sebastian Dable (boys’ 7), Noel Jazen Nunez (boys’ 8), Faye Dara Zaragozza (girls’ 9), Araz Josephn Baldazo (boys’ 9), Maria Fe Ebonite (girls’ 10), Ramon Rafael Viray (boys’ 10), Sofa Gwanelle Tumangday (girls’ 11), Juan Manuel Belicena (boys’ 11), Sharmaine Sumampong (girls’ 12), Jmykl Gallardo (boys’ 12), Yvonne Julianna Edralin (girls’ 13), Ajay Kumar Gabriel (boys’ 13) at Jayani Nathanielle Balutan (girls’ 14).
Itinanghal na overall champion ang Camp Aguinaldo Streamline na nakakuha ng 634 puntos.
