5 PSL tankers wagi ng MOS sa Japan meet

TOKYO – Limang tan-kers ng Philippine Swimming League (PSL) ang itinanghal na Most Outstanding Swimmers sa kani-kanilang dibisyon sa 2015 Japan Invitational Swimming Championship na ginanap sa Tokyo International Swimming Pool.

Nanguna sa listahan sina Kyla Soguilon ng Kalibo Sun Yat Sen School at Charize Juliana Esmero ng University of the Philippines Integrated School matapos walisin ang lahat ng kanilang apat na individual events.

Nakaginto si So­guilon sa 50-meter butterfly (32.92), 200m Individual Medley (1:16.05), 50m freestyle (30.38) at 50m backstroke (33.85) para makuha ang MOS trophy sa girls’ 10 years category.

Binanderahan din ni Soguilon ang pagkopo ng koponan ng ginto sa 200m medley relay at 200m freestyle relay.

Sa kabilang banda, naibulsa ni Esmero ang MOS award sa girls’ 12 years event matapos mangibabaw sa 100m backstroke (1:09.84), 200m IM (1:15.02), 200m freestyle (2:22.12) at 50m backstroke (32.23).

Itinanghal ding MOS sina Sean Terence Zamora ng UST (boys’ 15), Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque (girls’ 9) at Rio Lorenzo Malapitan ng Divine Word College-Calapan Mindoro (boys’ 11).

Umani ng ginto si Zamora sa 200m backstroke (2:12.66) at 100m backstroke (1:01.68), pilak sa 200m IM (2:14.38) at tanso sa 200m freestyle habang may ginto si Mojdeh sa 100m breaststroke (1:32.88), 50m breaststroke (42.07) at 100m butterfly (1:18.22) at pilak sa 50m butterfly (35.87).

Sumiguro rin ng tatlong ginto si Malapitan (50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke at 100m breaststroke) at isang tanso (50m freestyle).
