Cusing, Pacheco Presidential Trophy awardees

MANILA, Philippines – Ibinulsa nina Andrea Jheremy Pacheco ng St. Benilde at Paul Christian King Cusing ng Diliman Preparatory School ang Presidential Trophies ma­tapos makalikom ng pinakamataas na FINA points sa 85th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series All-School Swim Challenge sa Diliman College swimming pool sa Quezon City.

Ang 17-anyos na si Pacheco ay umani ng 483 puntos nang nanalo sa girls’ 15-over 50-meter freestyle habang si Cusing ay mayroong 457 puntos sa pagkapanalo sa boys’ 15-over 100m Individual Medley.

Kabilang din sa mga nagpasikat ay sina Kalibo Sun Yat Sen School tanker Kyla Soguilon at Divine Angels Montessori of Cainta swimmer Aubrey Tom na bumasag ng lima at apat na records, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

Kabuuang 14 records ang naitala sa kompetis­yon at ang iba pang record breakers ay sina Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Imma­culate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque, Marc B­ryan Dula ng Wei­senheimer Academy, Ja­nelle Blanch ng Ingenium School, Rio Lorenzo Malapitan ng  Divine Word College ng Calapan at Riza Haileyana Tabamo ng College of Holy Spirit Tarlac.

Ang DPS na pag-aari ni dating Senadora Nikki Coseteng ang nanalo ng overall title bitbit ang 753 points habang ang St. John Butterfly of Nova ang kumuha ng pangalawang puwesto sa 410 points at ang Arellano University ang pumangatlo sa 349 points.

Ang iba pang paaralan na nalagay sa Top 10 ay ang St. Scholastica’s College-Manila, Grace Christian College, Agelicum College, Academy for Holistic Learning, Bataan Peninsula State University, Bulacan State University at Le Athenaeum Motessori ng Bulacan.
