KALIBO, Aklan, Philippines – Kumolekta sina Kyla Soguilon at Heather White ng tig-limang gintong medalya para hiranging Most Outstanding Swimmers (MOS) sa Elite Category (Class A at B) sa 84th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series Swimming Championship sa Aklan Provincial Sports Complex sa Makato dito.
Ang mag-aaral ng Kalibo Sun Yat Sen School na si Soguilon ay kumuha ng mga ginto sa girls’ 10 years 50-meter butterfly (34.09) at 50m backstroke (35.43) na pawang mga bagong record sa torneo.
Nilangoy din niya ang ginto sa 200m Individual Medley, 50m freestyle at sa 50m breaststroke.
Nagbida naman ang 8-anyos na si White sa 200m IM, 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle at 50m breaststroke.
“We’re not just developing swimmers to became future champions but to also mold their characters. And we are happy that these kids are moving towards the right path through the guidance of the Philippine Swimming League (PSL),” wika ni PSL president Susan Papa sa kanilang layunin.
Nanalo rin ng MOS awards sa kani-kanilang age-groups sina Michael Gabriel Lozada (boys’ 8), Georjeana Deb Plenago (girls’ 9), Rython Garcia (boys’ 9), Jennuel Booh De Leon (boys’ 10), Lyssa Marie Enero (girls’ 11), Johann Christian Abogadie (boys’ 11), Sidley Rose Nicholei Malumay (girls’ 12), Lucio Cuyong 2nd (boys’ 12), Atilla Pia Isabela Loy (girls’ 13), Carl Wilfred Adones (boys’ 13), Franchino Milano Aplaon (boys’ 14), Rose Mary Occeno (girls’ 15-over) at Michael Novem Jarder (boys’ 15-over).
